Term 4 Week 1: Reading

Hi Everyone,
We all know that reading helps us in many ways. However, with the greater use of computer, it appears to face a great competitor - computer games. In your blog, I would like you to reflect on the importance of reading. Here are some questions to help you in writing your reflection:
1. Do you think reading is important?
2. What do you usually read?
3. How many books or magazines do you read in a month?
4. Why do you read/not read?
5. Do you think that computer games are affecting pupils in their reading?
6. How can the school encourage more pupils to read?
7. If you were to recommend one book which everyone must read, what would it be?
I am looking forward to reading your reflection.

Hi! Nice to see you again! Now, I am going to tell you about reading. Reading is a very important thing that everyone must do it. Anyway, reading is also my hobby. If you read a lot, your English test and your English composition will improve. I always go to national library in Ang Mo Kilo to borrow books. It's fun to read books. I always read the author name Jacqueline Wilson and sometimes read the author name Gwyneth Rees. The two author is my most favourite author and I will not change. I read Jacqueline Wilson the most because all her stories are very interesting and some books of her give me a lesson. My favourite book from Jacqueline Wilson is Candyfloss. It have 321 pages but it is not very difficult to read although the words are small. In a month, I always read 15 books and 04 magazines in a month but I also collect some books. Magazine, I sometime collect Hanna Montana, High School Musical, Shout, Witch and Pop Star. Hanna Montana magazine are my favourite because she is my number one fan of all! Anyway, I read all these books because it can help me to improve my English. I started to read thick books when I was primary two. Read is very fun and I read during my leisure time. Read does make me happy. I rarely read joke books because sometimes the story is nonsense (not all). The problem of reading to others is computer games. Computer Games can affect people's reading. There must be a way so that people won't affect their computer games. We can have reading CCA. It's about people go to the library and test their reading and learn more about reading. I think that is not bad idea after all. If I am going to recommend a book, the title of the book will be 'Camp Rock (junior novel)' and 'Wall.E (junior novel)'. These books that I've written may be suitable for boys and girls. Looks like it is the end of my post.
Bye!
